Claire is an experienced Events and Tourism Manager with over 10 years in local government. Her professional qualifications focused on events planning and delivery, tourism, health & safety and media relations, with a Bachelor of Arts focused in History of Art from University of Nottingham. She is currently Principal Events and Culture Officer at City of Lincoln Council planning and delivering Events, Managing the Visitor Information Centre and Contract Manager for a range of cultural and tourism service level agreements.

A A support and network for events professionals.
Q Why did you decide it was important for you to get involved?
A To keep up to date with industry best practice, networking and access to contractors.
Q Where do you hope to see the IEM in 20 years’ time?
A Continuing to support and champion the industry.
Q What is your favourite event related memory?
A The Olympic Torch coming to Lincoln and organising a celebration event.
