Q What does the IEM mean to you?
A IEM offers us the platform to meet peers from a variety of paths in the events industry to share knowledge and experience, opportunities of learning and development either for ourselves but also to offer to others.

Q Why did you decide it was important for you to get involved?
A IEM’s mission is very close to heart and I am really excited about being part of it. I am especially interested in the continuous development of professionals which is so very relevant at the moment as well as the opportunity to network with peers and find a safe place to exchange ideas, skills and experiences.

Q Where do you hope to see the IEM in 20 years’ time?
A I hope to see the IEM playing an active part in establishing the event management profession by monitoring courses’ quality, lifelong development for professionals, by participating in creating processes and procedures to safeguard the high quality service from registered professionals in the industry so the next generations of event managers enjoy being part of a secure and acknowledged profession like many others.
