She prioritises keeping every member of the project team well-informed, engaged, and clear on their respective roles, ensuring the seamless and successful delivery of all events.
This is where Candice feels her expertise translate into her role as a Fellow of the IEM:
“I have worked with committees, chairs and trustees in academia, so I understand the need to ensure joined-up thinking, the importance of consistent messaging and understanding the needs of its members at every level, as well as being the voice of the industry. I am a strong believer in self-discovery and personal development and having worked within two membership organisations – the Institution of Chemical Engineers and the Institute of School Business Leadership – I understand the workings and dedication required to ensure members are listened to, informed and their roles are understood within the wider sector.”
Candice is an active member of the Association of Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO), member of the UKEVENTS Skills,Training & Education shadow board and project lead for the Events Apprenticeships Programme.
