Headline: Invitation to become a Founding Fellow/Partner
We are sure you will be pleased to hear that the Institute of Event Management will be open for members from 19th October 2020, and not a moment too soon! Unfortunately, due to the current crisis, we have not been successful in getting any seed funding from the government, as we had originally hoped, and we are sure you will appreciate that although we have great support and pro bono work moving us forward, we still require some cash to get us up and running. To this end, we are seeking Founding Fellows/Founding Partners.
What is a Founding Fellow?
A Founding Fellow is someone with a pedigree in the events industry and who is able to take on an ambassadorial role for the IEM. The IEM Directors are looking for individuals who would champion professional event management under our banner. Founding Fellow status is an exclusive opportunity to have your name on our website, PR, contribute to our development and join in our success story.
What is a Founding Partner?
Similarly, a Founding Partner is an organisation with a pedigree in Event Management or Event Management Education and able to champion the professionalisation of the industry. Again the IEM Directors are looking for organisations who would champion professional event management under our banner. Founding Partner status is an exclusive opportunity to have your logo prominent on our website, PR, contribute to our development and join in our success story.
What does it involve?
A one-off fee of £1000 will give you Founding Fellow or Partner status including, one years FIEM status for individuals. This is a limited time offer, closing on 30th November, with limited availability. We are asking for a CV from individuals or a Business Profile from organisations and a 500 word statement of suitability to apply for Founding status, which we will also use in our promotional materials. Once up and running we hope to work with you to develop IEM and champion professional event management with your support and full recognition.

It isn’t just IEM who needs you. It is your profession that needs you, now more than ever.
